Coorg or Kodagu is the smallest district of Karnataka that is located midway between Mysore and Mangalore. Coffee is the main crop of Coorg. The air breathes of invigorating coffee. Coffee estates and colonial bungalows stand tucked under tree canopies in prime corners of the town.

Kodagu is an administrative district in Karnataka, India. Before 1956 it was an administratively separate Coorg State, at which point it was merged into an enlarged Mysore State. It occupies an area of 4,102 square kilometres (1,584 sq mi) in the Western Ghats of south western Karnataka. The district is bordered by Dakshina Kannada district to the northwest, Kasargod district of Kerala to the west, Hassan district to the north, Mysore district to the east, Kannur district of Kerala to the southwest, and the Wayanad district of Kerala to the south.

You can hire taxis as well as state buses to reach the hill station from these cities. It will take almost 3 hours 30 minutes to reach the place from Hassan. One can hire private cabs as well as buses to reach the hill station.
